Our first Commercial Auction catalogue of 2010 is now available. The auction will be held on Wednesday 10th February and comprises 100 lots that will be offered over two sessions at The Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly, London W1.
The catalogue has approx 40% more lots than February 2009 and contains a wide spread of properties located throughout the UK with prices ranging from below £100,000 to £3.75m and covering most sectors. The total investment income on offer amounts to in excess of £5m per annum. Some notable lots include:
· Lot 59 Stanford le Hope - A substantial freehold unbroken parade of shops comprising 21 shops and 20 maisonettes producing £270,500 pa. Guide £3.75m plus
· Lot 84 Middlesbrough - A site of 2.08 hectares (5.14 acres) comprising 14 football pitches and a pavilion let to Goals Soccer Centres plc at £85,000 pa on a lease expiring in 2079 with RPI linked reviews. Guide £1.2m to £1.25m.
· 8 first class freehold public house investments on behalf of Enterprise Inns plc in Hammersmith (Lot 8), Fulham (Lot 14), Islington (Lot 56), Soho (Lot 58), Fitzrovia (Lots 64 & 72), Westbourne Park (Lot 70) and Kings Cross (Lot 79).

· 11 Bank Investments situated throughout the UK, 6 of which are sale & leasebacks on behalf of Barclays Bank plc.
In 2009 Allsop Commercial Auctions grew their market share from 33% to 44% and sold 94 lots under the hammer for £1 million or more, more than twice as many as our nearest rival (Source: Essential Information Group). In total we sold 612 properties and raised approximately £445m with a combined success rate of 87%’.
