Allsop releases 236-lot catalogue for March residential auction

Allsop, a leading property consultancy and the UK’s largest property auction house, has released the catalogue for its March residential auction, featuring 236 lots across the UK.

The catalogue features a mixture of residential and mixed-use investment and development opportunities, including a freehold HMO building arranged as 35 ensuite bedrooms in Coventry, guided in excess of £2.6m, and a semi-detached building arranged as three self-contained flats in East Sussex, guided at over £1m.

The release of the catalogue follows Allsop’s February residential auction, at which it raised over £55 million from 169 lots sold, achieving a success rate of 82%.

Despite ongoing economic uncertainty and geopolitical challenges, the residential auction market continues to demonstrate strong resilience and the results from February suggest that more buyers are returning to the security of property investment. This month’s catalogue features over 230 lots across the country, offering attractive investment and value-add opportunities for a wide range of buyers. We anticipate a busy lead-up to the auction on 19^th March.”

Auction highlights include:

·       Lot 44: Haven Lodge, Coventry – a freehold HMO building arranged as 35 ensuite bedrooms, guided at £2.6m+

·       Lot 79: Alton Road, Roehampton – a freehold detached building and garage with planning for reconfiguration of existing building and two new build cottages, guided at £1.75m+

·       Lot 101: Hove, East Sussex – a freehold semi-detached building arranged as three self-contained flats, guided at £1m+

·       Lot 26: West, London – a freehold mid terrace building, guided £900,000+
