Allsop releases final commercial auction catalogue of the year with 161 lots on offer

- December commercial auction catalogue features 25 investments priced at £1m or more
- The highest-value property of the catalogue is a Multi Let industrial estate in Stockton-on-Tees at £3.5m+
- Extensive range of geographic and sector spread investments available
Allsop has released its final commercial auction catalogue of the year, with 161 lots on offer, among which, 134 are retail assets. The catalogue features a range of attractive commercial properties across the country.
Since the start of the year, Allsop has raised £511m following the sale of 680 lots at its commercial auctions, with an average success rate of 92.5%.
George Walker, Partner and Auctioneer at Allsop, said: “This catalogue is the culmination of a strong year in our market, with £511m of sales to date. Despite starting the year in lockdown, 2021 has proved to be the busiest since 2018, before Brexit negotiations caused some bumps in the road.
“Buyers are clearly keen to make their cash work for them and the wide range of assets on offer in this catalogue provides opportunities for all, from High Street and convenience retail, to roadside, offices and significant multi-let industrial estate investments.”
Key highlights include:
- Lot 8: Palmers Green, London – pharmacy let to Boots with three flats above. Guided at £2m (5.4% GIY)
- Lot 21: Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire Three self-contained office suites and two flats, comprising a total of 3,712 sq ft. Guided at £1.8m+ (5.24% GIY)
- Lot 53: Nottingham, BP forecourt let at £82,062 pa with annual increases until 2038. Guided at £1.325m (6.19% GIY)
- Lot 66: Stockton-on-Tees, Multi Let industrial estate of 75,270 sq ft let at £281,172pa. Guided at £3.5m+ (8.0% GIY)
