Allsop releases March commercial auction catalogue with combined guide price of £97m
- Allsop’s March commercial auction catalogue comprises 136 assets across the UK
- 32 lots are marketed with a guide price of £1m+
- The highest-value property is retail warehousing in Wren Nest Retail Park, guided at £3.65m
Allsop has released its final commercial auction catalogue of the financial year comprising 136 lots, nearly a quarter of which feature a guide price of £1 million or more.
The catalogue includes a wide range of potential investments across the UK, from retail and industrial assets to car parks, with a combined guide price of £97 million.
George Walker, Partner and Auctioneer at Allsop, said: “The market has continued to be very buoyant as both private and institutional investors turn to auctions to find excellent opportunities. Our buyers have a wide choice of assets to choose from in March. From the income protection of annual RPI rental increases that will mitigate the effects of rising inflation, a strong range of London lots and 100 retail assets, interest is already building.
“Alongside preparing this latest catalogue, we continue to sell lots from past auctions, with a rolling sales success rate of over 93% of lots offered.”
Key highlights:
- Lot 25 – eight retail warehouse units with tenants including Next, Argos, Pets at Home and Costa, located in Wren Nest Retail Park, Derbyshire, guided at £3.65 million
- Lot 26 – an office investment let to Virgin Media on a lease until 2060 with annual RPI increases and no break options until 2035, situated in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, guided at £2.5 million
- Lot 40 – a leasehold car park investment at Bryanston Square, located between Baker Street and Edgware Road, London, comprising 76 parking spaces with 29 vacant, let at £163,747p.a., guided at £2.3 million
- Lot 21 – a multi-let industrial estate investment in Hereford, comprising 16 units let to a variety of tenants, guided at £1.85 million
Allsop’s commercial auction team raised £595 million from the sale of more than 800 lots in 2021, with an overall success rate of 93%.
The commercial auction will take place virtually on 24th March, and the full catalogue is available here.
