Allsop releases March residential auction catalogue with 296 lots on offer
Allsop, a leading property consultancy and the UK’s largest property auction house, has released the catalogue for its March residential auction, which will offer 296 lots across the UK.
The catalogue features a mixture of residential and mixed-use investment and development opportunities across the UK, including the freehold of a Grade II-listed former chapel in Harrogate, guided in excess of £850,000, as well as the largest lot on offer on the day: a mixed-use Grade II-listed building in the popular Hampstead Village suburb in north London, guided at over £2.5m.
The release of the catalogue follows Allsop’s February residential auction, at which it raised over £52 million from 260 lots sold, representing a success rate of 85%.
Richard Adamson, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said: “Following the success of our first two auctions of the year which raised in excess of £65m, we are delighted to release our third residential catalogue of 2024. Our latest offering includes 296 lots, which is an increase of over 20% compared to the same time last year. We have seen more buyers returning to the market over the past few months as the wider economy has become less volatile and interest rates have settled from the raft of increases experienced last year. We anticipate a busy couple of weeks ahead with our marketing campaign and look forward to continuing our momentum.”
Auction highlights include:
- Lot 74: Harrogate, North Yorkshire – a freehold Grade II-listed former chapel conversion, guided at £850,000+
- Lot 160: Reading, Berkshire – a freehold site with planning for 26 flats and two retail units, guided at £1.75m+
- Lot 171: Deptford Broadway, London – seven leasehold flats and a leasehold retail unit, fully let producing £143,496 p/a, guided at £1.6m+
- Lot 173: Hampstead Village, London – a freehold Grade II-listed mixed-use building comprising a shop and four self-contained flats, guided at £2.5m
Allsop’s next residential auction will be held online on 26th and 27th March via livestream, and the complete catalogue can be viewed here.
