National investment team boost industrial expertise with new hire: ex-JLL industrial expert Richard Gale
Richard Gale will join the national investment team as an associate. Specialising in the industrial sector, Richard joins from JLL’s capital markets team, having been a key player in a number of high-profile deals across the UK in recent years.
Richard started his career at King Sturge in Leeds in 2007 before moving to JLL in London in 2015. Working within the capital markets team, he specialised in the sale and purchase of industrial assets across the UK on behalf of a variety of institutional, PropCo and private clients including L&G, Marchmont, StenProp and LondonMetric.
To complement this line of work, Richard is also a registered LPA receiver, having worked in corporate recovery between 2010 to 2014 where he provided restructuring and recovery advice to banks and insolvency practitioners across a number of sectors.
The new hire comes off the back of a strong end to 2020, with Allsop’s national investment team concluding a number of deals , most recently The Hornet Portfolio comprised of seven industrial assets at £35.27m and The CRM portfolio which includes three industrial assets for £26m. Despite an unpredictable year for the property market, Allsop secured a total of £600m worth of across their investment teams in Q4 2020.
