The early optimism of a stable new government in the UK has become a little flat of late as the reality of the tough prospects for growth following the Autumn budget have become more apparent. There has been a lot to digest in recent weeks, and with the American election outcome settled and a second interest rate cut in 3 months delivered, many in the market have been considering the next move.
