BRETT’S ROLE

In mid 2022, Brett joined Allsop LLP in the firm’s Leeds office as part of the commercial valuation team where he pursues business development opportunities from a wide ranging mix of existing and new prospective clients in order to grow the profile of the northern commercial valuation presence, all the while undertaking valuation instructions for a variety of purposes including loan security, tax and auditing purposes.

RELEVANT EXPERTISE / SPECIALISM

• Experience in valuing property across all asset classes including office, retail, and industrial.
• Portfolio valuations across the northern regions in conjunction with the national team.
• Annual fund valuations of major landmark office buildings, industrial estates and retail blocks.
• Providing Charity Act valuations of obsolete office buildings.

EXPERIENCE

Brett qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016 after having studied at Nottingham Trent University, and subsequently become a Registered Valuer soon after. During his career in the property sector, he had initially worked with a Business Rates specialism before moving into the valuation of commercial and residential property with a particular focus on the northern regions within national and regional surveying firms.

 He has extensive knowledge of the northern markets and has built up a strong portfolio of valuation work and clients.
