EMILY’S ROLE
Emily is an Associate in the Residential Valuation department based in the Central London office. She carries out valuations of individual residential properties, ground rents, residential portfolios and residential development sites.
RELEVANT EXPERTISE / SPECIALISM
- Specialist in the valuation of residential properties including high value flats and houses in Prime Central London and properties in Greater London and the Home Counties.
- Experience in carrying out valuations of individual properties as well as portfolios for loan security, probate, sale/purchase and Capital Gains Tax purposes.
- Carries out valuations which are compliant with the Charities Act.
- Ground rent valuations.
- Provides valuation advice to landlords and tenants relating to matters under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (as amended) and the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended). This also includes negotiating premiums for lease extension and freehold purchases.

Emily previously worked in the residential and commercial valuation department at Chesterton Humberts, where she qualified, and subsequently the leasehold reform team at Gerald Eve before joining Allsop in August 2013 as a Residential Valuer.
RECENT PROJECTS / ASSIGNMENTS
- Recently valued a number of PCL high value properties for loan security purposes.
- Acted as a valuer on the valuation of three PRS blocks in Shoreditch for loan security purposes.
- Acted as a valuer for a Charity on a portfolio of 37 residential properties
- Valued a large Freehold block in central London with revisionary and non-reversionary initerests.
- Valued a development site with planning for a Large Build to Rent property
